British Museum

I was in the British Museum for the first time and it impressed me very much. I liked it more then tate Modern because I like ancient times and things this rich history.

I prefer the most Asia Gallery because I'm interested in this rich and unusual culture.

This is the bronze statue of Shiva Nataraja from South India (AD 1100). He is seen here as Supreme God and Lord of the Dance. In his upper right hand he holds a drum representing the sound of creation, in his upper left hand he holds a flame of destruction. His raised left foot symbolizing release.

Chinese jade is more precious than gold, it is associated with power and wealth.
